Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Notre Dame overwhelms Moravian Academy
February 3, 2023: Bethlehem, PA 18020 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA) and the host Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA), saw Notre Dame's basketball squad wallop Moravian Academy by a count of 79-47.
With the victory, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. East Stroudsburg North lost 86-76 in their recent non-league challenge against Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA)
Next up, the Lions play the Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) in a Colonial - East challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Moravian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 63-45 non-league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA).
