In Friday's league outing, the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA), by a margin of 68-64.

The Bluejays (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Cubs go into the Heart of Iowa - Large outing with a 12-7 record.

The Eagles now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasantville for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 9. Saydel will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 67-53 league loss to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-9.
