February 3, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28405 In Friday's non-league outing, the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Thomas Academy Eagles (Lake Waccamaw, NC), by a margin of 50-23.
The Patriots (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC). The Warriors go into the NCCSA AA East Region 4 outing with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Living Water Christian smashed Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC), 77-26, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Falcon Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Thomas Academy will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 98-54 non-league win over Father Capodanno (Vass, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 19-4.
