Connecticut High School Basketball - Warde holds off Trumbull
February 3, 2023: Trumbull, CT 06611 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) and the host Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT), saw Warde's basketball squad hold off Trumbull by a tally of 53-48.
With the victory, Warde improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to confront the Bears in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Norwalk lost 62-32 in their recent league challenge against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Trumbull will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Wreckers come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 62-51 league loss to McMahon (Norwalk, CT).
