Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) and the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), saw Forest Hills's basketball squad knock off Anson by a tally of 58-39.

With the victory, Forest Hills improves its record to 8-15 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to play the Redhawks in a 2A/3A Conference 44 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Monroe won 49-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Weddington (Matthews, NC)
