Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) and the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), saw Dacula's basketball squad hold off Central Gwinnett by a tally of 52-49.

With the victory, Dacula improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Buford (Buford, GA) to confront the Wolves in a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 21-3. Buford lost 64-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Black Knights confront the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Central Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 3-20 record after their 61-53 league loss to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA).
