Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) and the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), saw Western Alamance's basketball squad hold off Cedar Ridge by a tally of 49-42.

With the victory, Western Alamance improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Person (Roxboro, NC) to confront the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 18-3.

Next up, the Fighting Red Wolves confront the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Cedar Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record.
