North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwood nips Cedar Ridge

December 16, 2022: Hillsborough, NC 27278

Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 33-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwood upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Person (Roxboro, NC) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 10-0.

Next up, the Fighting Red Wolves play the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
