South Dakota High School Basketball - Huron nips Sturgis Brown
February 3, 2024: Sturgis, SD 57785 Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 65-60 in a league bout.
With the victory, Huron upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Riggs (Pierre, SD) to play the Governors in a AA bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Governors come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Riggs won 61-34 in their recent league bout against Yankton (Yankton, SD)
Next up, the Scoopers play the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a AA bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Sturgis Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 59-45 league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD).
