Georgia High School Basketball - Long County nudges Johnson
February 3, 2024: Ludowici, GA 31316 In Saturday's league outing, the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), by a count of 83-76.
The Blue Tide (18-5) will now prepare for their outing against Beach (Savannah, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAA Region 3 outing with a 8-15 record. In their last outing, Beach held off Groves (Garden City, GA), 64-56, in a league outing.
The Atomsmashers now hold a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Liberty County for a AAA Region 3 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Johnson will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 46-43 league win over Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.
