In Monday's league contest, the host Meridian Bobcats basketball team scored a big 84-51 triumph over the Century Centurions.

The Bobcats (20-6) will now prepare for their contest against Agape Christian (Energy, IL). The Knights go into the South Egyptian contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Agape Christian was trounced by Egyptian (Tamms, IL), 46-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Centurions confront the Egyptian Pharaohs (Tamms, IL) in a South Egyptian contest, on Friday, February 7. Century will attempt to better on its 16-9 season record. The Pharaohs go into the contest with a 8-16 record after their 46-38 league win over Agape Christian (Energy, IL).
