In Monday's non-league contest, the host Shelton Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 72-27 triumph over the Giltner Hornets.

The Bulldogs (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Silver Lake (Roseland, NE). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Silver Lake smashed Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE), 37-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Giltner will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 42-30 non-league win over Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE).
