Michigan High School Basketball - Hamilton can't hold off Spring Lake
February 3, 2025: Spring Lake, MI 49456 Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI), 46-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Spring Lake advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Lakers host Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to face the Chargers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 12-3. Covenant Christian won 72-40 in their recent non-league match against Bellaire (Bellaire, MI)
The Hawkeyes now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zeeland East for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Hamilton will face a Chix squad coming off a 58-39 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI). The Chix record now stands at 10-7.
