Michigan High School Basketball - Hamilton trounced by Unity Christian
January 17, 2025: Hudsonville, MI 49426 Unity Christian Crusaders (Hudsonville, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI), 54-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Unity Christian advances its record to 12-1 on the year. The Crusaders host Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies (Detroit, MI) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-10. Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies won 43-38 in their recent non-league match against Western International (Detroit, MI)
The Hawkeyes now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Lake for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue match on Tuesday, January 21. Hamilton will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 67-62 league loss to Holland Christian (Holland, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 7-5.
