The Western Guilford Hornets basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons to 58 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Guilford for a 4A Conference 55 contest on Tuesday, February 8. Western Guilford will meet a Nighthawks team coming off a 53-47 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 12-7.
