The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) basketball felled the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 86-72 in Tuesday's league test.

The Nighthawks (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys go into the 4A Conference 55 test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Southwest Guilford was beaten by Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 89-57, in a league test.
