Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 80-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Northern Guilford upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Page (Greensboro, NC) to play the Pirates in a 4A Conference 55 bout on Friday, January 7. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Page won 66-55 in their recent league bout against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Conference 55 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Northwest Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
