February 4, 2022: Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) and the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), saw First Flight's basketball squad wallop Holmes by a tally of 51-20.

With the victory, First Flight improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 2A/3A Conference 15 challenge on Monday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Northeastern won 64-39 in their recent league challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC)

Next up, the Aces confront the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a 2A/3A Conference 15 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 55-32 league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
