Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ambridge overwhelmed by Neshannock
February 4, 2023: New Castle, PA 16105 The Ambridge Bridgers basketball team (Ambridge, PA), was overwhelmed 70-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA)
The Lancers now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mohawk Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Friday, February 10. Neshannock will battle a Warriors team coming off a 89-64 league win over New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 18-1.
The Bridgers (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats come into the WPIAL 4A 2 battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Beaver trounced Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA), 83-41, in a non-league battle.
