February 4, 2023: Hephzibah, GA 30815 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA) and the host Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots (Hephzibah, GA), saw Greene County's basketball squad overcome Georgia School for Innovation & Classics by a tally of 57-40.
With the victory, Greene County improves its record to 7-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to confront the Indians in a A D2 Region 8A challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Towns County lost 42-38 in their recent league challenge against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a A D2 Region 8B challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Georgia School for Innovation & Classics will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 53-41 league loss to Aquinas (Augusta, GA).
