Maryland High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy succumbs to Gonzaga
February 4, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21202 The Gonzaga Eagles topped the host St. Frances Academy Panthers basketball team by a final score of 76-67 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA game, on Tuesday, February 7. Gonzaga will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record. The Cadets enter the game with a 21-2 record after their 66-58 non-league win over Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
With the defeat, St. Frances Academy moves to 19-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to face the Eagles in a MIAA A - Black game on Monday, February 6. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 13-11.
