The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Hershey Panthers to 26 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cecilia for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Grand Island Central Catholic will battle a Bluehawks team coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Bluehawks record now stands at 11-9.

The Panthers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Paxton triumphed over Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE), 68-27, in a non-league contest.
