North Dakota High School Basketball - Beach nipped by New Salem
February 4, 2023: New Salem, ND 58563 The New Salem Holsteins tipped the visiting Beach Buccaneers basketball team by a final score of 41-37 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Holsteins face the Garrison Troopers (Garrison, ND) in a B Region 5 game, on Tuesday, February 7. New Salem will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Troopers enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Berthold (Berthold, ND).
With the defeat, Beach moves to 2-13 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Richardton-Taylor (Richardton, ND) to face the Raiders in a B Region 7 game on Monday, February 6.
