February 4, 2023: Elmhurst, IL 60126 In Saturday's non-league outing, the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL), by a count of 50-24.
The Dukes (22-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 19-11 record. In their last outing, Hinsdale South smashed Proviso East (Maywood, IL), 43-34, in a league outing.
The Wolves now hold a 6-21 record. They play next when they travel to Oswego for a SouthWest Prairie - West outing on Tuesday, February 7. Oswego East will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 41-35 non-league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-24.
