February 4, 2025: Orinda, CA 94563 Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 79-56 in a league match.
With the victory, Acalanes upgrades its record to 19-5 on the year. The Dons host Concord (Concord, CA) to face the Bears in a Diablo match on Thursday, February 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-18. Concord lost 48-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Hercules (Hercules, CA)
In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Diablo challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Miramonte will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 55-43 league loss to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA).
