The Mexia Black Cats bounced the visiting Buffalo Bison basketball squad by a final score of 91-44 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Black Cats clash with the Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 outing, on Friday, February 7. Mexia will attempt to upgrade on its 21-10 season record. The Goats enter the outing with a 8-13 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Axtell (Axtell, TX).
