Texas High School Basketball - Red Oak thwarts Crandall
February 4, 2025: Red Oak, TX 75154 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX) and the visiting Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX), observed Red Oak's basketball team knock off Crandall by a score of 55-37.
The Hawks (22-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Terrell (Terrell, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region II District 15 challenge with a 9-22 record. In their last challenge, Terrell was knocked off by Midlothian (Midlothian, TX), 70-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Crandall will attempt to improve on its 13-16 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-20 record after their 47-43 league loss to Ennis (Ennis, TX).
