Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper St. Clair fells Hempfield Area
February 4, 2025: Greensburg, PA 15601 The Upper St. Clair Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Hempfield Area Spartans to 38 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Mt. Lebanon for a WPIAL 6A 2 game on Friday, February 7. Upper St. Clair will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 73-61 league win over Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Hempfield Area falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA) to confront the Knights in a WPIAL 6A 2 game on Friday, February 7. The Knights go into the game with a record of 10-10.
