Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper St. Clair routs Hempfield Area
January 10, 2025: Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 In Friday's league contest, the host Upper St. Clair Panthers basketball team scored a big 75-50 win over the Hempfield Area Spartans.
The Panthers (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils come into the WPIAL 6A 2 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Mt. Lebanon was trounced by Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 79-65, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Hempfield Area will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 53-51 league win over Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA).
