The Spartans (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Mattawan will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 65-39 non-league loss to Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI).
