The Mattawan Wildcats basketball squad (Mattawan, MI), was outscored 54-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI)

With the victory, Portage Northern advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Huskies host Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21.
