New York High School Basketball - Malverne sneaks past North Shore
February 4, 2025: Glen Head, NY 11545 The Malverne Mules (Malverne, NY) basketball edged the host North Shore Vikings (Glen Head, NY), 59-58 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Mules now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Seaford for a Section 8 A-1 bout on Friday, February 7. Malverne will play a Vikings team coming off a 62-39 non-league loss to Jericho (Jericho, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, North Shore falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Friends Academy (Locust Valley, NY) to play the Quakers in a Section 8 VIII bout on Friday, February 7. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Friends Academy won 67-40 in their recent league bout against Wheatley (Old Westbury, NY)
