New York High School Basketball - North Shore overwhelms Lawrence
December 11, 2024: Cedarhurst, NY 11516 The North Shore Vikings basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Lawrence Golden Tornadoes to 39 in the Vikings league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Seaford for a Section 8 A-1 game on Saturday, December 14. North Shore will confront a Vikings team coming off a 62-56 league win over Wheatley (Old Westbury, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Lawrence falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Golden tornadoes travel to Friends Academy (Locust Valley, NY) to confront the Quakers in a Section 8 VIII game on Saturday, December 14. The Quakers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Friends Academy lost 63-56 in their recent league game against Malverne (Malverne, NY)
