February 4, 2025: Cedarhurst, NY 11516 The Lawrence Golden Tornadoes basketball squad (Cedarhurst, NY), was outscored 68-53 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Island Trees Bulldogs (Levittown, NY)
With the victory, Island Trees advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Friends Academy (Locust Valley, NY) to meet the Quakers in a Section 8 VIII battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Quakers enter the battle with a record of 11-5.
The Golden Tornadoes now own a 0-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Hempstead for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Lawrence will meet a Rams squad coming off a 69-51 league win over Carle Place (Carle Place, NY). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
