Michigan High School Basketball - Merrill can't hold off St. Charles
February 4, 2025: Merrill, MI 48637 St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), 54-51 in a league match.
With the victory, St. Charles upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ashley (Ashley, MI) to face the Bears in a Mid-State match on Friday, February 7. The Bears enter the match with a record of 1-16. Ashley lost 57-40 in their recent league match against Fulton (Middleton, MI)
The Vandals now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coleman for a Mid-State match on Thursday, February 6. Merrill will face a Comets squad coming off a 45-40 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Comets record now stands at 9-8.
