Michigan High School Basketball - Fulton thwarts Merrill
December 13, 2024: Merrill, MI 48637 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) and the host Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), observed Fulton's basketball team knock off Merrill by a score of 58-40.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Bears come into the Mid-State challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Ashley dropped by Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI), 56-19, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Vandals encounter the Farwell Eagles (Farwell, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Merrill will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
