February 4, 2025: Plainfield, NJ 07063 The Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Union Farmers (Union, NJ), 64-31 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Union Catholic for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Plainfield will play a Vikings team coming off a 58-52 league win over Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Union falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Farmers host Linden (Linden, NJ) to play the Tigers in a Union County bout on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Linden lost 64-53 in their recent league bout against Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ)
