Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 65-30 in a league match.

With the victory, Venture Academy upgrades its record to 16-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA) to face the Bobcats in a Central California Athletic Alliance match on Thursday, February 6. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 10-7. Ben Holt College Prep Academy won 67-51 in their recent league match against Turlock Christian (Turlock, CA)

The Riptide now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millennium for a Central California Athletic Alliance match on Friday, February 7. River Islands will face a Falcons squad coming off a 72-35 league loss to Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-20.
