In Tuesday's league test, the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), by a score of 59-33.

Next, the Redhawks clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River test, on Wednesday, February 5. Monroe will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the test with a 8-12 record after their 60-34 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC).

The Bearcats (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A/3A Rocky River test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Piedmont bounced Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 65-35, in a league test.
