Maine High School Basketball - Oxford Hills defeats Thornton Academy
February 4, 2025: Saco, ME 04072 The Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) basketball were winner over the host Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 61-45 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Westbrook for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Oxford Hills will play a Blue Blazes team coming off a 48-37 league win over Deering (Portland, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 10-11.
With the loss, Thornton Academy falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Biddeford won 50-21 in their recent non-league bout against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME)
