Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Lakeview drops to University Liggett
February 4, 2025: St. Clair Shores, MI 48081 University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) fans exited the stadium happy Tuesday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the host Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI), 8-2 in a non-league game.
With the win, University Liggett improves its record to 14-7 on the year. The Knights host Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Independent game on Tuesday, February 11. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 7-12.
The Huskies now sport a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Big Rapids for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Lakeview will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-11.
