In Saturday's league match, the visiting Blaine Borderites basketball team scored a tight 65-63 triumph over the Ferndale Golden Eagles.

In their next game, the Borderites meet the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match, on Friday, February 11. Blaine will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Lyncs enter the match with a 15-1 record after their 77-39 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
