Louisiana High School Basketball - Ascension Christian overwhelms Christ Episcopal School
February 5, 2024: Covington, LA 70433 Spectators at Monday's non-league test between the Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) and the host Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA), witnessed Ascension Christian's basketball squad crush Christ Episcopal School by a margin of 76-45.
The (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Flames go into the non-league test with a 6-20 record. In their last test, Family Christian was trounced by Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA), 68-52, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Maurepas for a B District 7 test on Tuesday, February 6. Christ Episcopal School will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-20.
