Missouri High School Basketball - West Platte crushes DeKalb
February 5, 2024: DeKalb, MO 64440 West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host DeKalb Tigers (DeKalb, MO), 64-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Platte upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Lathrop (Lathrop, MO) to play the Mules in a KCI bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 4-16. Lathrop lost 74-62 in their recent league bout against Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO) in a Highway 275 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 56-45 league win over Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO).
