The Elizabeth Minutemen basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Ewing Blue Devils to 51 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Monday.

The Minutemen now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Catholic for a Mountain Valley - Mountain contest on Wednesday, February 7. Elizabeth will battle a Vikings team coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Franklin (Somerset, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 13-6.

The Blue Devils (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Irish enter the Colonial Valley contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame ran past Bordentown (Bordentown, NJ), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
