New York High School Basketball - Williamson nips Wayne
February 5, 2024: Ontario Center, NY 14520 Williamson Marauders (Williamson, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY), 58-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Williamson upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Marauders host East Rochester (East Rochester, NY) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. East Rochester lost 64-51 in their recent league bout against Lyons (Lyons, NY)
Next up, the Eagles play the Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Screaming Eagles go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 81-40 league loss to Newark (Newark, NY).
