Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Fort Cherry crushes Mapletown
February 5, 2025: McDonald, PA 15057 The Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA), 73-12 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Rangers now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Carmichaels for a WPIAL 2A 3 bout on Friday, February 7. Fort Cherry will play a Mighty Mikes team coming off a 51-28 league loss to Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA). The Mighty Mikes record now stands at 2-14.
With the loss, Mapletown falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Maples host Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a WPIAL 2A 3 bout on Friday, February 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Burgettstown lost 50-40 in their recent league bout against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA)
