February 5, 2025: Prince George, VA 23875 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 64-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Godwin upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA) to face the Wildcats in a Colonial match on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-11. Deep Run lost 66-52 in their recent non-league match against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
The Royals now sport a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colonial Heights for a Central match on Friday, February 7. Prince George will face a Colonials squad coming off a 75-58 non-league win over Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 6-12.
