Virginia High School Basketball - Freeman defeats Prince George
January 13, 2025: Richmond, VA 23229 The Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 58-39 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Mavericks now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a Colonial bout on Tuesday, January 14. Freeman will play a Vikings team coming off a 71-26 non-league win over Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Prince George falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Royals host Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA) to play the Monarchs in a Central bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Meadowbrook won 53-51 in their recent league bout against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)
