The Hoover Huskies basketball squad (Clendenin, WV), was outscored 61-51 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV)

With the victory, Riverside advances its record to 3-12 on the year. The Warriors host Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 13-11. Teays Valley Christian lost 78-61 in their recent non-league battle against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)

The Huskies now own a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sissonville for a Cardinal battle on Friday, February 7. Hoover will meet a Indians squad coming off a 52-40 league loss to Ripley (Ripley, WV). The Indians record now stands at 3-12.
